Japanese women may soon be tapping on the hit Nintendo DS handheld game machine for beauty tips and don’t need to visit a beauty or fitness expert, such as taking extra fluids and monitoring skin tones. Their gaming device is guide enough to route them to get in shape and give them a glow. Well if you think I’m going bonkers or am super obsessed by the DS and thus am stating things like this then read on and I shall prove my sanity to you. The “beauty navigation software,” as the company describes it, asks questions that the player answers regarding criteria such as skin tone and smoothness, as well as exposure to sunlight and hours of sleep.

“Dream Skincare” was recently shown in Tokyo, part of recent efforts by Nintendo to attract newcomers to gaming. In a related announcement, Konami said it would soon release ‘Doko Demo Yoga’ on the Nintendo DS in Japan. And, this particular title is all about learning/teaching Yoga, that priceless souvenir of India’s lush cultural heritage.
‘Doko Demo Yoga’ is scheduled for a July 5th Japan release. It will sport a price tag of about 3,800 Yen ($31 approx).
