Nokia Fashion Mobile Photography Contest
Nokia launched a mobile photography contest dubbed “Eye on Fashion” as part of the ongoing Wills Lifestyle India Fashion Week to strengthens its association with style and fashion and popularize the concept of mobile imaging with Nokia’s hi-end imaging handsets. The theme of the contest is “What’s your fashion statement” and is aimed at firmly establishing Nokia’s foothold on imaging via fashion.
Shefali Chhachi, brand marketing head, Nokia India, said, “Photography and fashion are interwoven, as they are both vibrant expressions of imagination and feelings. Nokia believes in connecting people to their passions, and through this contest, we hope to give people an opportunity to express their creativity by converging fashion with technology.”
The ‘Nokia Eye on Fashion’ contest will run for a month, starting from August 29 till September 22, 2006. Only Indian nationals above 18 years of age are eligible to participate in the contest. Besides, they need to click photographs only on Nokia camera phones. The winner will receive one of Nokia’s upcoming luxury handsets, whereas the runner-up will win an Ashish Soni designer outfit.
Steps to participate and register for the Nokia contest:
Users need to logon to www.nokiaeyeonfashion.com
Register themselves online
Upload their entries, based on the theme ‘What’s your fashion statement’, photographs clicked on the Nokia camera phone needs to be associated with their fashion statement.
A maximum of three images will be allowed per user
The images that to be clicked on a Nokia phone
All images will be individually screened and checked for any offending/obscene content
All images approved by the moderation process will be will be available for public viewing on the website
As per rules of the contest:
A maximum of three images per user is allowed only Nokia phones are to be used to click photos
images to be screened for offensive/obscene content.
Approved images to be made available for public viewing users to rate photographs sharing of photos possible
